Lotus has begun its search for the perfect candidate to join us in our continuing attempt to make every home part of the #lotuslifestyle.
For those of you not as familiar with us, we pride ourselves on being more than a shopping experience. We help you build your home with specific focus on stylish pieces unique to our company and well established brands that match our own reputation.
Yes, Yes but what do I have to do?
Lotus needs a person of taste. We can teach you our computer system, train on how to fill out form but we cannot train a discerning eye and an overall need to give the customer the right advice with a personal touch. The candidate must:
1. Run day to day sales and operations at our retail location
2. Manage bridal registry appointments and research
3. Keep basic accounting and administrative documents in order for submission
4. Assist in the ordering and direction of stock
5. Manage relationships with our wholesale partners
The fun part has always been the shopping. We need someone who will assist us in choosing the look on incoming stock for the store (Yes that translates to you get paid to shop!) Brides are a huge part of what we do, the individual must assist in managing their expectations, guide their choices and help them them build a home. Of course there are come accounting things too like doing VAT, PAYE and NIS.
Most of all, we want someone to enjoy themselves, want to come to work and become and integral part of what we represent. A shopping experience in Trinidad that actually focuses on customer care!
We are flexible, offer all the usual suspects in benefits (including employee discounts!) and need someone who is there for the long haul. Lotus will sorely miss our current Supervisor who has been a huge part of getting us to where we are, so we look forward to the next person going even further.
